"Refund felt completely unfair??"
I had missing items again, and the refund they gave me was tiny?? There wasn’t any real compensation, and customer service pretty much brushed it off like it wasn’t a big deal. Really disappointing experience, and I don’t think I’ll be ordering again.

I was a bit disappointed with the range, to be honest. It feels limited and there are loads of normal brands I usually buy that just aren’t there. Like I said, it’s not that there’s nothing available, but like I said, it’s missing too many of the everyday options I’d expect.

Every time I try to order, there are just no delivery slots near me. Like, none, none at all when I actually need them.
"Losing confidence after a pointless complaint escalation"
I raised a complaint thinking someone would actually take ownership of it, but I just got passed from one person to another for days. Every time it was “escalated,” I basically received the same copy-paste response with no real update or accountability. It’s made me lose a lot of trust in how they handle issues. Really disappointing experience.

I’m not sure if I was just missing something, but changing my account details was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. The settings felt messy, and every time I tried to update something it kept failing. I reached out to support, but they didn’t really help much. For basic account stuff, it was annoying

Lately it just doesn’t feel worth it anymore. The prices keep going up, and whenever I’ve tried to ask about it, I feel like I’m getting passed around instead of getting a straight answer. I used to be fine with the cost, but now it’s getting harder to justify.

My order arrived damaged again, the eggs were smashed and a bunch of the cans were dented. The packing just doesn’t seem good enough. Not saying it’s a scam, but it’s really frustrating to keep paying for groceries and having them show up like this.

I still remember that sinking feeling when I thought I’d finally found a bunch of dairy-free items, only to click through and see a milk warning on the product page. The filters said dairy free, but the actual allergy info didn’t match, so I ended up canceling about half my shop. If you’re shopping with allergies, that kind of uncertainty is really stressful.

"Double charged and left guessing :/"
I placed an order and somehow my card got charged twice, even though the app said the payment failed. The money still came out of my bank, which was super frustrating when I was trying to keep track of my budget :(
Customer service basically just kept telling me to wait a few days. The refund did show up eventually, but there wasn’t really a proper apology or explanation, so now I’m not feeling very confident about their billing.

My order got cancelled right at the last minute, which was really frustrating because it basically wasted my whole evening. I tried reaching out for help, but the email replies felt like they were written by robots and didn’t actually address anything. No real support, no useful explanation, just a bad experience overall

I really wanted to like this place, but the subs weren’t good and half of my order was missing. It’s frustrating paying for food and feeling like you didn’t even get what you ordered. I’d be hesitant to order again because I don’t want to waste money on another disappointing meal...

"So much packaging for a “green” company"
I used ocado a handful of times, I think maybe around spring last year or the year before, and every delivery felt like it came with way too much packaging. Little items would be in their own extra bags, there was plastic film everywhere, and the eco-friendly bits felt more like a box-ticking exercise than anything meaningful.
I get that one delivery van might be better than loads of people driving to the shop, but it doesn’t really make up for filling half my recycling bin after one order. Maybe I’m being picky, but it was hard to buy into the sustainability message when there was that much waste, so I’ve stopped using them for now

"I picked this up thinking it would…"
I picked this up thinking it would be an easy option to have on hand, and at first everything looked okay from the outside. The packaging was fine and nothing seemed obviously wrong right away. But once I actually opened it and tried it, it just didn’t taste or seem fresh at all. Disappointing overall.

"Delivery updates were all over the place"
The communication was bad. My delivery time kept changing and I only knew because I happened to keep checking the app myself, which feels a bit pointless when they should be telling me. There wasn’t any proper message or clear update, just me sitting around not knowing what was happening. I know delays happen, but if you’re a big company like Ocado, surely you should somehow know exactly what’s going on all the time. Don’t think I’ll bother using them again.

"Smart Pass ended up being a total waste"
I paid for Smart Pass every month thinking it would make things easier, but I still got hit with delivery fees about half the time. It was really frustrating, especially when I’d planned to order in and not worry about extra costs, only to have the total jump at checkout. Kind of ruined my plans more than once. Definitely didn’t feel worth paying for.
